We usually deliver within 1-2 working days. If no one is home, the driver will leave your Essential Foods order in the most suitable place.
Yes — we deliver right across the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, at the same price and within the same delivery timeframe as the rest of Ireland. There's no surcharge and no extra waiting time for NI orders.
If we don't live up to your expectations, we'll obviously give you a full refund. Simply pack the items you wish to return in a cardboard box and contact our customer service. We'll take care of the rest free of charge and without causing you any inconvenience.
BOF is the principle of developing food to match the natural diet of your dog. Our meals make sure your dog's blood sugar level remains stable. The high fresh meat content stimulates natural instincts and our low preparation temperature means the dog receives the highest possible nutritional value. Berries, seeds and herbs mimic the stomach of the natural prey, and the size of the kibble makes sure the feed is chewed before being swallowed.
As a general rule, the amount and shape of your dog's stools says a lot about the quality of what is served. If your dog is experiencing an increased amount of stool after switching to Essential Foods, it is very likely you haven't yet found the correct meal size for your dog. It is a common mistake to serve the same amount after a switch to Essential Foods, which will cause the above problem. Try and cut down portions by 5% a week until you're happy with your dog's stools. Please contact our customer service team for individual advice.
We don't sponsor individuals. The branding value of sponsorships is not important to us. All the top-breeders, VIPs, and Essential Foods team members who you see feeding with Essential meals and products pay for their products just like everyone else. This says a lot about their commitment to high quality and the well-being of their dogs, rather than seeking free meals sponsored by larger food companies.
We put all our effort into providing outstanding quality and service at reasonable prices. Furthermore, we spend considerable resources supporting animals in need, including donating our meals and products. These are the reasons why we have chosen not to sponsor prizes for shows, exhibitions, etc.
